Richmond Va Dec 8th 62 My Dear Annie, Your box with its contents was duly received upon my arrival in this place, I found it at the Fla hospital, where it was left in care of Dr. Palmer. I can not thank the ladies too much for their hansome contribution of socks, gloves, etc., they come in good time and will be highly appreciated by the company, it was of all things just what we mostly needed, I have distributed some of them to those of our company who are here at the hospital, the rest I will take up with me when I return to the Rgmt. Who were the pant 2pr for? I see one nice pr of gloves...
