Harrison Street gate, Oaklawn Cemetery, Tampa (Jim Studnicki)Harrison Street gate, Oaklawn Cemetery, Tampa (Jim Studnicki) The first three Tour Stops of our new feature, Florida at Gettysburg -- a Guide to the Field are now up and running. Walk the field and follow in the steps of 25 year-old Colonel David Lang as his Floridians drive Carr's Brigade from the Emmitsburg Road! Your comments are appreciated.

Take a stroll through Oaklawn Cemetery, Tampa's final resting place of many Confederates, Florida governors and prominent government officials. The day I visited was hot and extremely humid, but bright and clear enough that I was able to take several fairly decent pictures despite some camera lens problems.

We have also brought up a tour of St. Augustine. We plan to publish other tours in the future.
